Our Team

Susan Tan

Ms. Susan Zhejun Tan is the founding partner of the firm. She heads the firm’s transactional department. Ms. Tan focuses her practice in the areas of corporate, finance, and real estate law. She has extensive experiences in private company formation and governance, business buy and sale, merger and acquisition, real estate buy and sale, real estate and business financing, condominium offering, 1031 exchange and commercial lease. Ms. Tan’s clients include individuals as well as corporate investors in business and real estate transactions, real estate developers in all stages of development, lenders and borrowers in business and real estate financings, landlords and tenants in commercial leases, etc.

Before forming the firm, Ms. Tan was an associate in the securities group of DLA Piper’s New York office. She also passed Chinese Bar Examination and provided legal advises to numerous multi-national corporations on doing businesses in China when she was at Coudert Brother’s Shanghai Office before she came to the U.S. to pursue her U.S. legal education. Ms. Tan’s unique background and rich experiences in both the USA and China have set her apart from others in the field. Since the firm opened its door, Ms. Tan has represented hundreds business and real estate investors from China and other Asian countries in their transactions in New York.

Eric Li

Mr. Eric Bingchen Li is the managing partner of the firm. He is in charge of the firm’s Estate and Litigation practices. Mr. Li focuses his practice in the areas of civil and commercial litigations. He is vastly experienced in representing small businesses in defending wage and hours as well as ADA lawsuits. He has conducted numerous trials as the leading counsel in the state and federal court with favorable results. Mr. Li is also a seasoned attorney, representing high net worth clients to navigate through US and New York estate and gift tax laws, via wills, trusts, and other legal devices.
